SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah golfers Nick Micek and Dustin Pimm were the top two finishers at the Glendale Amateur Saturday.
Micek shot a 65 at the Glendale Golf Club to win the tournament. Pimm followed closely behind in second place, after recording a score of 66.
Two other Utah golfers were in the Glendale Amateur field and recorded strong finishes as well. Steve Newren tied for seventh after carding a 69. Chris Gresh tied for the No. 15 spot at the tournament, tallying a score of 71.
