ST. GEORGE, Utah - After 18 holes at the Pat Hicks Invite, the University of Utah is tied for seventh place with Nevada and Grand Canyon University. The Utes shot a combined 290 on the day to finish at two-under-par as the team prepares for Tuesday's final round. Host Southern Utah leads after day one at ten-under-par.
The Utes were paced Monday by juniors Chris Gresh and Steven Broker. Gresh is currently tied for ninth place after firing a three-under-par 70. Broker isn't far behind after carding a two-under-par 71 and tying for 21st place. Junior Dustin Pimm finished the round at one-over-par. Nic Van Vuuren of Utah Valley State leads the tournament at six-under-par.
