Utah junior Jon Morgan led the Utes to a third place overall finish by winning the Countrywide Home Loans Intercollegiate in Northridge, Calif. Morgan shot three rounds of 74 to give him a total of 222, good for six over par and the victory. Morgan prepped at Skyline High School in Salt Lake. Utah's third place finish marks their best finish this year. The Utes shot a team three round total of 915, to finish seven shots off the lead. John Owen also had an outstanding tournament finishing tied for 18th at 14 over par. Gregg Olpihant was Utah's next best finisher at 28th finishing just three strokes behind Owen at 17 over par. Chris Riding (35th) and Brock Padilla (47th) rounded out the lineup for the Utes.
