The University of Utah men's golf team finished ninth at the Ron Moore Invitational. Utah finished three-over par (291) in the third round after finishing seven-over (295) in the first two rounds to finish with an overall score of 881 (+17).

Ashdon Woods finished three-under par (69) in the final round after shooting a 73 (+1) in the first round and a 74 (+2) in the second round to finish tied for 10th overall. Freshman Daniel Smith took two strokes over par (74) in the first round and then improved in the final two rounds with a one-over par score for both rounds to finish tied for 29th.

Chris Gresh and Dustin Pimm tied for 38th (+6) and 52nd (+9) respectively. Junior Nick Micek finished tied for 74th with a three-round score of 230 (+14).
