TEMPE, Ariz. - University of Utah golfer Dustin Pimm carded his first over-par round at the NCAA West Region Championship Saturday morning at Arizona State's Karsten Golf Course. Pimm was two-over (74) in the final round of the tournament. He finished the event with a three-under score of 213 strokes.

Pimm did not advance to the NCAA Championships. The top 10 teams and the top two individuals not on one of the top 10 teams moved on to nationals.

Pimm was even over the front nine Saturday, carding two birdies and two bogeys. But he ran into a little trouble on the par-three 16th hole. He had two birdies and two bogeys on on the back nine, but double-bogeyed that 16th hole to account for his score of 74.

Pimm's participation in the NCAA West Regional marks the end of the 2006-07 season for the University of Utah golf team.
