Ashdon Woods is leading the way for Utah after two rounds at the Cougar Classic.

PROVO, Utah - The University of Utah men's golf team leads the Cougar Classic after two rounds of competition. Utah sits three-strokes ahead of Brigham Young for the team lead with a score of 568. The Utes had rounds of 281 and 287 respectively. Leading the way for Utah through the first day of competition is junior Ashdon Woods. Woods shot a score of four-under-par, 140 (70-70) and is in sixth-place individually.
Utah has three golfers in the top 20 as Casey Fowles and Garrett Clegg each had strong showings on Friday. Fowles is in ninth-place with a score of three-under, 141 (71-70), while Clegg sits 16th with his score of one-under, 143 (69-74).
The individual leader through the first two rounds is Chris Baryla of UTEP, with a score of 136 (66-70). The final round of competition will begin at 8:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 24 at the Riverside Country Club.
