The University of Utah men's golf team completed the John Burns Intercollegiate on Friday. Utah finished 18th after a final round 297. Utah put up a three round total of 15-over-par, 879 (278-304-297). Luke Swilor was the top Ute, finishing at one-over, 217 (69-74-74), 16-strokes off the winner. Casey Fowles added a three-over, 219 (68-75-76). Other Utes to compete included Garrett Clegg who finished at five-over, 221 (72-75-74), Carl Jensen shot a six-over, 222 (69-80-73) and Steve Newren finished at 21-over.
Arizona won the tournament with a team score of 31-under. Next up for the Utes will be the Braveheart Classic on March 8-9.
