Utes move up one spot to finish fifth at SUU Invitational

ST GEORGE, Utah - The University of Utah golf team gained a spot in the final standings at the Southern Utah University Invitational Tuesday, firing three-under-par as a team in the final round to finish at one-under-par. Kentucky captured the team title, finishing at 14-under-par.

"Altogether as a team we played well," said head coach Randall McCracken. "We're pleased with how we ended up the last couple of days."

Chance Cota led the Utes, finishing tied for 11th place at three-under-par. Steve Broker finished tied for 16th at one-under-par. Nic Larson carded a team low 69 Tuesday to finish tied for 25th at one-over.
