No. 24 Utah (0-0, 0-0 MWC) hosts No. 15/15 Pittsburgh (0-0, 0-0 Big East) in the season opener for both teams on Thur., Sept. 2. Game time is 6:30 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium. The game will be televised live on VERSUS. Radio is ESPN700 AM (espn700sports.com) and Westwood One (national radio).

he Utah athletics department will unveil a new podcast called U Demand It for the 2010 football season. Ute fans will be asked to submit questions for Utah football players and coaches via the school's official athletics Twitter and Facebook sites.

New steel signs measuring 25' tall x 10' long and weighing 8,506 pounds have been installed in the south end zone on either side of the video board. The signs, designed to withstand 90 mile-per-hour winds, are in recognition of Utah's 2005 Fiesta Bowl and 2009 Sugar Bowl victories.

There are four Ultimate Ute Experience sideline passes still available for purchase for Utah's football games against Pitt, UNLV, San Jose State, Colorado State and TCU. The first Crimson Club luncheon of the season, featuring football coach Kyle Whittingham, is SOLD OUT.
