> Utah (5-3, 2-2 MWC) plays Colorado State (1-6, 1-3 MWC) on Saturday, Oct. 27 in Fort Collins, Colo. Game time is 3:30 p.m. (MT). The Mtn. will televise the game live from Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium.
> Utah has won four straight games - the longest win streak of head coach Kyle Whittingham's career.
> Whittingham earned his 20th career victory last Thursday at TCU. Utah beat the Horned Frogs 27-20 to improve the third-year Ute head coach's record to 20-13.
> With five wins, Utah needs one more to become eligible for its fifth-straight bowl game. Utah has won its last six bowl games - dating back to 1999 - which ranks as the second-longest postseason win streak in the nation.
> This Saturday's game is the 76th meeting between Utah and CSU. Utah leads 51-22-2. For more information on the series, see page 2.
> Louie Sakoda is the MWC Special Teams Player of the Week for the third straight week, the fourth time this season and the seventh time in his career. He becomes just the third player in MWC history - and the first non-quarterback - to win the award three straight times (joining Utah's Alex Smith and BYU's John Beck).
> Darrell Mack rushed for his fourth straight 100-yard game against TCU and his fifth this season. The Utes are 5-0 when Mack rushes for 100 yards.

FORT COLLINS FLASHBACK
The last time Utah played in Fort Collins, a Ram goal line stand sent the Utes reeling to a 21-17 loss in 2005. Despite losing a 14-3 fourth-quarter lead, the Utes were still positioned to win when Quinton Ganther's 20-yard run gave them first and goal on the 4-yard line. Ganther gained three yards on his next rush, but Utah would then fail to punch home the winning touchdown on three tries from inside the 1-yard line.
KYLE STYLE
Kyle Whittingham is 20-13 in his third year as Utah's head coach and a perfect 2-0 in bowl games. This is his 14th season on the Ute staff: He spent 11 years as an assistant coach (defensive line coach in 2004 and defensive coordinator from 1995-2004), before accepting the head job on Dec. 8, 2004. A month after his appointment, he served as the co-head coach in Utah's 35-7 Fiesta Bowl victory over Pittsburgh - capping a 12-0 season. Whittingham's first game as the head coach was on Sept. 2, 2005 -a 27-24 win over Arizona. As a head or assistant coach, Whittingham has taken part in 101 victories and 51 losses at Utah.
INSIDE THE HUDDLE
Utah does not have any Colorado players on its roster ... Bradon Godfrey did not see any time at receiver against TCU due to a back injury suffered the week prior against San Diego State. Godfrey did hold for kicker Louie Sakoda on field goals and PATs at TCU and is expected to return to the receiving rotation this week ... Freshman Jereme Brooks replaced Elijah Wesson on the kick return team and returned his first career kickoff 38 yards against TCU ... Sakoda (59 points) and running back Darrell Mack (54 points) account for 113 of Utah's 191 total points ... Utah utilized four different tight ends against TCU: Matt Sims, Colt Sampson, Dallin Rogers and Brad Clifford ... Eight true freshmen have played for the Utes this season: Nai Fotu, Dallin Rogers, Lei Talamaivao, Eddie Wide, Jereme Brooks, Jamel King, Justin Taplin-Ross and Corbin Louks.
OUTSIDE THE LINES
Utah has a bye next week - the same date of its bye week a year ago ... The trip to Colorado State marks Utah's final out-of-state regular season game of the season. The Utes have home games against Wyoming (Nov. 10) and New Mexico (Nov. 17), and a road game in Provo, Utah, vs. Brigham Young (Nov. 24) remaining.
