Launch date for the three channels is Sept. 1
University of Utah athletic events will enjoy unprecedented local, regional and national television coverage this fall under a new partnership with CSTV Networks. Ten of Utah's 12 football games will be featured on either The mtn., Versus or CSTV. Numerous other Ute athletic events, to be determined, will also be showcased on the three channels. Please check sport schedules on this website for television updates.
Subscribers to Comcast Cable's expanded basic service plan in the Salt Lake area can find The mtn. on channel 37 and Versus (formerly OLN) on channel 34. Ute fans who subscribe to Comcast's basic digital package will have access to all three channels--including CSTV, which will appear on channel 269.
With 22 million subscribers, Comcast is the largest cable operator in the United States, and its network Versus (the name will change from OLN in September) is seen in nearly 70 million homes nationwide. CSTV Networks, Inc., a part of the CBS Corporation, is the leading digital and cable programming company dedicated to college sports. The mtn. is the nation's first Super Regional Sports Network and will feature Mountain West Conference athletics 24 hours a day.
