SALT LAKE CITY -
The Utah Football Leadership Committee has been selected for the 2003-04 school year by a team vote. Implemented by Head Coach Urban Meyer when he was hired in December, the Leadership Committee serves as a liaison between the players and the coaches. Members of the committee relay player concerns to the coaches and assist in enforcing team policies.
The players nominated to the 2003-04 Utah Football Leadership Committee include five seniors, six juniors, four sophomores and a freshman. The seniors on the committee are Jason Kaufusi, Ray Holdcraft, Dave Revill, Josh Savage and Thomas Herrion. Representing the junior class are Morgan Scalley, Max Petersen, Bo Nagahi, Brett Elliott, Sione Pouha and Paris Warren. The sophomores are Spencer Toone, Alex Smith, Steve Fifita and Shaun Harper. Alex Puccinelli was the lone freshman voted onto the committee.
