SALT LAKE CITY -The University of Utah football coaching staff is holding a football clinic for all women interested in learning of the X's and O's of football.
The three-hour instructional outing is set for Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, and will start at 5:30 p.m. It will be held at the Eccles Indoor Field House. The cost is $20 per person and interested parties may register online at www.UtahUtes.com. For additional information, please contact Shane Schut in the football office (801-231-6779).
The clinic is designed to teach the basic concepts of each position and to provide an opportunity to ask questions of any of the coaches. There will be on-field instruction as well as an open forum for discussion. Each participant will receive a digital group picture (with coaches and participants) and a clinic certificate.
Clinic Schedule:
5:30 p.m. -- Registration and Reception: refreshments and snacks provided by Ruby River Steakhouse and Red Bull
6:15 p.m. -- Welcome by head coach Kyle Whittingham
6:30 - 8:15 p.m. - On-the-field clinic with each position coach and facility tour
8:15 - 8:30 p.m. -- Open forum, Q&A with head coach Kyle Whittingham and closing remarks
