Head coach Kyle Whittingham will hold full practices Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5 p.m., although he's identified Thursday as a no-tackle practice. On Friday, the Utes won't even don pads for their short workout (4-5:15 p.m.).

RED-WHITE GAME SATURDAY

The fifth-annual Red-White game will be held in Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, April 21 starting at 1 p.m. It is free to the public and the players will sign autographs after the game.

UTE NOTES

Teams and coaches for the Red-White game will be selected on Wednesday ... Saturday's affair will be a full-scale game, minus kickoffs, kickoff returns and punt returns (all punts will be fair caught) ... The first two quarters of the Red-White game will be 12 minutes in length, with a normal game clock. Quarters three and four will feature a running clock and will last 10 minutes each. There will be a three minute halftime ... Defenders Martail Burnett and Steve Tate are two starters who will miss the spring game. Both are nursing sore shoulders ... Kenape Eliapo and Gabe Long have nailed down the two starting tackle positions after fending off competition from Pauli Latu and Zeke Tuinei-Wily ... Jason Boone has moved from right to left tackle. Dustin Hensel is the new starting right tackle ... Paul Kruger is practicing at both tight end and defensive end.
