UTAH: One-time walk-on is now on scholarship and a leading contender at strong safety ... had an excellent spring camp ... came to Utah as a wide receiver.
2012- Played in nine games with two starts (BYU, UCLA) ... 16 total tackles (one TFL) ... two pass breakups ... season-high eight tackles and a pass breakup against BYU ... four tackles vs. UCLA.
2011-Played in four games on special teams ... lettered.
2010-Redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: All-region and honorable mention all-state receiver in 2009 ... played for Alta High's (Utah) two-time state championship team (2007 and 2008) ... as a senior in 2009, he had 37 receptions for 913 yards and 11 touchdowns ... also lettered in basketball.
