HIGH SCHOOL: 2007 5A first-team all-State (Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News) ... also all-region and all-Utah Valley ... led American Fork HS (Utah) with 44 receptions for 853 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in 2007 ... also played safety and had three interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns ... his junior year, he totaled 30 receptions for 530 yards and eight TDs ... second-team all-state in baseball ... also lettered in basketball ... led American Fork to region titles in football and baseball in 2007 ... signed with BYU out of high school.
