UTAH: Joined the Utes in the last week of fall camp and immediately moved into the two deep ... plays both offensive tackle and guard.
PRIOR TO UTAH: Played two years at El Camino Junior College ... second-team all-Southern California Football Association offense in 2010 ... team finished 8-3 in 2009 ... played offensive and defensive line in 2006 at Santa Monica High School.
PERSONAL: Son of Ronald Mason and Belinda Fontenot ... four sisters and two brothers ... comes from a basketball family and did not start playing football until his senior year of high school ... sociology major ... full name is Miles James Mason ... born August 25, 1989.
