Saginaw Valley State University director of athletics Mike Watson announced Thursday (May 17) the hiring of Randy Baruth as the eighth head coach in the 42-year history of the Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball program. The South Dakota native joins the SVSU family after spending the past season as the Director of Player Development at the University of Utah.

Utah basketball has announced the signing of Dakari Tucker, a 6-foot-5 wing from Serra HS in Gardena, Calif. Tucker becomes the eighth player to accept a scholarship offer to play for the Utes in 2012-13.

Utah basketball has signed transfer Jarred DuBois from Loyola Marymount, head coach Larry Krystkowiak announced Monday. The 6-foot-3 point guard will join the Utes with one year of eligibility remaining and will be able to play immediately due to his upcoming graduation from LMU.

The University of Utah men's basketball team has signed 6-foot-9 forward Renan Lenz (pronounced heh-NON) to play for the Utes in 2012, head coach Larry Krystkowiak announced Wednesday. Lenz becomes the sixth signee who will join the Utes for the 2012-13 season and the third who stands at 6-foot-9 or taller.

Utah men's basketball has signed point guard Brandon Taylor to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Larry Krystkowiak announced Wednesday. A native of West Hollywood, Calif., the 5-foot-10 Taylor led Pacific Hills High School to the state championship this season.
