SALT LAKE CITY - Utah men's basketball head coach Jim Boylen announced Tuesday that the team will be led by four captains in 2009-10. Seniors Luka Drca and Kim Tillie and juniors Carlon Brown and Tre Smith will assume the leadership role for the Runnin' Utes this season.
"Our captains are invaluable in our program," said Boylen. "We rely on them to make decisions, bring leadership and take ownership of everything we do. They are accountable for upholding the standards of our program and I think this group will do a great job of that."
The four captains were selected through a team vote consisting of more than 30 players, coaches and staff.
