SALT LAKE CITY - Academic all-conference honors were conferred on 88 University of Utah student-athletes today by the Mountain West Conference office, six from the men's basketball team. The latest MWC accolades recognize athletes who competed during the spring semester.

Carlon Brown, Johnnie Bryant, Luka Drca, Chris Grant, Tyler Kepkay and Kim Tillie represented the men's basketball team.

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.

Utah saw 10 athletes turn in cumulative grade-point averages over 3.80.
