SALT LAKE CITY, UT - Michael Doleac scored a career-high 30 points to lead Utah to a 71-55 victory over Utah State Wednesday night in the Huntsman Center.
Doleac hit 11-18 from the field and 8-8 form the free throw line to spark the Ute offense. Andre Miller scored 13 points and passed for 6 assists while Doleac and Alex Jensen led Utah on the boards with 8 rebounds each.
Utah shot .519 from the field and held the Aggies to just .419 shooting from the field and just .167 from three-point range. The Utes held USU's leading scorer Marxus Saxon to 4-13 shooting from the field. Utah's 8-0 start is the best start for a Ute basketball in 30 years (1967-68).
