Shaun Green scored his first points since the second game of the season against High Point. He also hit his first 3-pointer since the game against High Point in Seattle on Nov. 13.
Green scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half. He shot 6-of-10 from the field, all from 3-point range. Nine of his 15 first-half points came during Utah's 20-2 run after falling behind 16-4.
Utah's 20-2 run in the first half was easily its biggest spurt of the season. The Runnin' Utes previous best offensive run was 13-0 against South Carolina Upstate in the season-opener. Five different players - Johnnie Bryant (5), Kim Tillie (2), Luke Nevill (2), Carlon Brown (2) and Shaun Green (9) - scored during the outburst.
Utah's Carlon Brown was in the starting lineup for the first time in his collegiate career.
Luke Nevill reached double figures for the fifth consecutive game to start the season. It was his 49th career game with double-digit scoring.
Utah made 11 3-pointers in the contest. The Utes' previous high this season was 9 vs. High Point Nov. 13 in Seattle.
Johnnie Bryant also reached double figures for the fifth straight time to open the season. It was the 49th time in his career that he's scored 10 or more.
The victory was Utah's seventh straight over Weber State.
Utah shot .519 from the floor, hitting more than half of its shots for the fourth time in five games.
