-Junior center David Foster blocked six shots in the game, bringing his career total to 215. He has now blocked at least one shot in 58 of his last 61 games over the last two seasons and has blocked multiple shots in 48 of those contests.
-Junior guard Josh "Jiggy" Watkins recorded a game-high 18 points, going 6-of-14 from the field and 5-of-8 at the free throw line. He also added four assists, three rebounds and a steal. Watkins has scored double figures in 23 of Utah's 30 games.
-Foster's six blocks are his highest total in conference play this year. He also grabbed three rebounds and tied his career-high with two steals.
-Freshman forward J.J. O'Brien blocked a career-high three shots in the game. He was also Utah's leading rebounder with seven boards and added seven points.
-Sophomore center Jason Washburn scored 12 points, his highest total in MWC games this year, going 5-of-6 from the field (.833) for the second straight game. He also added three rebounds and one assist.
-Sophomore guard Chris Hines went 4-of-9 from the field, including 2-of-5 from 3-point range, finishing with 10 points. Over the last four games, Hines is 11-of-19 (.579) from beyond the arc.
-Utah's leading scorer, junior forward Will Clyburn, did not play the second half due to a nagging heel injury. He failed to score, but grabbed three rebounds and one assist in 12 first-half minutes.
