-Utah is now 78-48 all-time against New Mexico, including a 52-7 mark in Salt Lake City. The Utes are now 4-4 against the Lobos in overtime games. The Utes are 0-2 in overtime games this year.
-The Utes fall to 2-4 against Top 25-ranked teams under head coach Jim Boylen. This year, Utah is 1-2 against ranked teams.
-Sophomore center David Foster recorded seven blocks in the game to bring his season total to 103, further extending his school record for blocks in a single season, and becoming just the third MWC player ever to record 100+ blocks in a season. He has now recorded at least one block in all 23 of his games played and blocked multiple shots in 20 of them.
-Foster currently holds the third-highest single-season total by an MWC player. Including only league games, his 45 blocks is the fourth-most in a single season by any MWC player. He already holds the single-season and single-game records for blocks by an MWC sophomore.
-Prior to this year, the school record for blocks in a game was seven. Foster has now recorded seven or more blocks four times.
-With two assists in the game, senior guard Luka Drca brought his career assist total to 349, ranking 10th all-time at Utah.
-Freshman guard Marshall Henderson finished with 21 points in a career-high 41 minutes. He has now scored 20+ points five times this year, including his last two consecutive games. He also added five rebounds.
-Junior guard Carlon Brown scored 18 points, hitting double digits for the 18th time this year. He shot 7-of-15 for the game, including his only 3-pointer, which tied the game with 2.8 seconds left in regulation and sent the game to OT.
