Utah is now 76-44 all-time vs. New Mexico. Tonight's game was the 120th meeting between the Utes and Lobos.
Tyler Kepkay hit a 3-pointer for Utah's first basket. He entered the game second on the team in 3-pointers made, but had gone without a triple in Utah's previous two contests.
Kepkay tied his career-high with 5 rebounds in the first half. He finished with six.
Kepkay's four assists account for his most since dishing out six back on Nov. 14 at Washington.
Utah is now 0-6 when trailing at halftime..
Utah's 10-point halftime deficit was the largest the Utes have faced this season.
After scoring just eight points in his last outing vs. BYU, Johnnie Bryant tallied nine in the first half vs. New Mexico. He finished with a season-high 25. Bryant recorded his 13th career 20-point game.
He hit five 3-pointers (5-of-7) in the contest. It was 11th time this season he has made multiple triples.
Bryant reached double figures for the 12th time this season and the 56th time in his career.
Utah hasn't won in Albuquerque since 2002.
Tonight's game marks the third straight overtime contest between Utah and New Mexico.
