SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team closes out the regular season on the road in non-conference action this weekend, with games against UC Santa Barbara and CSU Bakersfield, hosted by Bakersfield. The Utes play UC Santa Barbara on Friday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. PT, and Saturday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m. PT, followed by CSU Bakersfield on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. PT and Sunday, May 27, at noon PT.
Utah struggled on offense last weekend against Stanford, falling in all three games. The Utes end their inaugural Pac-12 campaign with a 7-23 record.
UC Santa Barbara is 24-27 on the season. The Gauchos have dropped eight of their last nine games. The team plays USC on Tuesday before facing the Utes this weekend.
CSU Bakersfield is currently 21-29 on the season. The Roadrunners won one of three games against UC Irvine over the weekend. The team takes on Cal State Northridge on Tuesday.
