Sophomore Giselle Slotboom of the University of Utah cross country qualified for the Dutch National Team and will represent the Netherlands at the European Cross Country Championships on Dec. 9 in Budapest, Hungary.

Running in her final collegiate cross country race, senior Amanda Mergaert wrapped up her career in perfect fashion, earning All-American honors with a 14th-place performance at the NCAA Championships.

Amanda Mergaert will cap off an impressive senior season and her collegiate cross country collegiate career on Saturday at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. Mergaert, a three-time qualifier for the event, will compete in her final race beginning at 12 p.m. ET at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
