TERRA HAUTE, Ind. - University of Utah cross country runner Delfino Arevalo competed at the NCAA Championships on Monday, Nov. 25, 2002. Arevalo placed 69th (30:54.4) overall in the NCAA cross country championships, running the 10K race.
The junior earned a berth by finishing ninth overall, and as the fourth finisher on a non-qualifying team at the Mountain Region Championships on Nov. 16. After becoming the Utes' strongest runner on the men's side for most of the year, Arevalo ended the season on a high note with a strong performance at the NCAA championships.
