The University of Utah women's track and field team finished the first day of the Husky Invitational with two great performances. Freshman Susannah Hurst led the charge in the five-kilometer race, while Klaudia Rokossa finished second in her respective flight of the pole vault.

Following a great performance at the Mountain States Games on Feb. 4, the University of Utah women's track and field team gets set its toughest challenge of the season thus far. The Utes will face nationally ranked competition for the first time this season at the Husky Invitational, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. PDT at the Dempsey Indoor Track in Seattle, Wash.

After earning two event titles on Friday, the University of Utah track and field team wrapped up action at the Mountain States Games by winning two more events on the second day. The Utes were led by Rosalie Griffin's first-place finish in the 400m race.
