Utah Track and Field's Amanda Mergaert became only the second Ute to earn All-American honors in cross country, indoor and outdoor track as she finished third in the 1500 meter final this afternoon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships from Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus.

The University of Utah track and field team had 19 student-athletes named to the 2013 Pac-12 All-Academic team today, including three who earned first-team distinction. Two more student-athletes earned second-team status, while 14 others received honorable mention.
