10 members of the University of Utah track and field team have qualified for the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field West Preliminary Round on Thursday, May 23-Saturday, May 25. The three days of competition take place at Mike A. Myers Stadium with The University of Texas in Austin serving as host.

Wrapping up the final day of the Pac-12 Conference Championships, the University of Utah women's track and field team secured an 11th-place finish with 14 points. The Utes were led on the second day by senior Amanda Mergaert's fourth-place performance in the 1500m.

Following the first day of competition at the Pac-12 Conference Championships, the Utah women's track and field team is in 12th with three points. Sophomore Rebekah Winterton tallied Utah's only points of the day with a sixth-place finish in the 10-kilometer race.
