QUOTING HEAD COACH Kyle Kepler: "The Wildcat Tune-Up is just that, a tune-up meet for the conference championships next weekend. We will only send a select few athletes who need an extra competition to continue to improve or work out various technical issues in their events. The remainder of the team will rest this weekend as part of their preparations for the Mountain West Conference meet.
"All the work has been done. As a coaching staff, we can't really help our athletes get a lot better physically. They need rest and they need to start to prepare mentally for the conference championsips."
