QUOTING CO-HEAD COACH Brian Appell:
"This will be a unique opportunity to have a scored meet against opponents. We will run a somewhat controlled meet in preparation for next weeks Mountain States Games, but we should have some personal records and top quality performances as our athletes round into shape.

QUOTING CO-HEAD COACH Tapio Kuusela: "The upcoming meets are gradually getting tougher and I think we are, too. The whole team is ready for better marks and new challenges. Our strong throwing squad has begun a new phase in its preparation and is ready for some new improvements. Over all, this meet will give us a better idea of what changes, if any, need to be made in our preparation for the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships"

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Next up for the Utes is the Mountain State Games in Pocatello, Idaho. Competition for the meet will kick off on Friday, Feb. 4.
