AZUSA, Calif. - Utah senior Kristy Slade wrapped up the first day of competition for the Azusa Invitational Heptathlon on Wednesday, April 16. After one day of competition Slade is in sixth place with a total of 3,011 points. Slade's top performances included a 1.65m mark in the high jump (795 points) and a 15.13 finish in the 100-meter hurdles (825 points).
Competition for the Heptathlon will wrap up on Thursday, April 17, with the long jump and the javelin.
