Sophomore Amanda Feigt continued to be one of Utah's best performers at the Holiday Inn Invitational.

Nampa, Idaho - The University of Utah Indoor Track and field team finished competition for the Holiday Inn Invitational on Sat., Feb. 12. Hosted by Boise State at the Idaho Sports Center, the meet featured athletes from Utah, Weber State, Idaho, California, UC Davis Arizona State, Portland State and Louisiana State.
Senior Candice Workman-Ekberg once again led the Ute throwing squad, taking third in the weight throw with a 53' 3.50"distance. She also finished fifth in the shot put with 48' 3.50". Another impressive performance from the throwing squad came from freshman Nicole Farnsworth who finished seventh in the weight throw with 49' 9.00".
Sophomore Amada Feigt had Utah's second strongest performance of the day with a fourth-place finish in the long jump (19' 2.75"). Feigt continued to dabble in multiple events adding an eighth-place finish (38' 9.00") in the triple jump to her performance.
Next, the Utes will travel back to Ogden, Utah, for the Weber State Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 19.
