Joined the Utes last season after spending two years at Snow College ... the school did not have a running program ... in 2000, participated in cross country ... named academic all-MWC ... during the indoor season, finished seventh in the 3,000 (10:58.65) at the Snake River Open ... 12th (11:08.34) in the 3,000 at Weber State's Wildcat Invitational ... during outdoor season, placed third at the UNLV Invitational in the 3,000 (11:01.37) ... fourth in the 1,500 (5:04.31) at the Clarence Robinson Invitational ... academic all-MWC in track and field.
High School:
Part of the 400-meter relay team that took fifth place at the 1997 Utah State Track and Field Championships ... took sixth in the hurdles at the regional championships in 1998 ... placed in the top 20 at the 1998 state cross country championships ... placed second in her age group and 10th overall in the 2000 Deseret News Marathon ... was first in her age group in the Deseret News Marathon in 1999 and also competed in 1998 ... member of the Utah all-state lacrosse team her senior year ... graduated with honors.
