Several Utes set to make season debuts this weekend.
At Utah
2012 Cross Country:
Earned All-Region accolades for 12th-place finish at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships ... finished 39th at the Pac-12 Championships, running the final 5,000m with only one shoe ... placed fifth at the Montana State Bobcat Invitational ... finished 45th at the NCAA Pre-Nationals.
At Jacksonville State
Named OhioValley Conference Freshman of the Year ... finished 21st at the NCAA South Region meet ... named to all-conference first team ... holds nine school records (five indoor, four outdoor) ... finished third in the mile and was on the distance medley relay team at the conference championships.
High School:
Three-time Dutch Junior champion in the 3000m steeple chase ... member of the 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams that finished second at the National Relay Junior Championships.
