The Richards Building Pool was a sea of red and blue as Ute fans packed in to watch Utah Swimming and Diving take on rival BYU. In a closely fought battle, BYU takes the Deseret First Duel trophy, beating Utah men 139-161 as and the women 138-162.

The Utah Women's Swimming and Diving team put together several impressive performances earlier today, but fell to Oregon State, 147.5-114.5, and UCLA, 176-81, at Stevens Natatorium.

The University of Utah Swimming and Diving program has announced it will head to Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 17 to face USC. The Utes were set to take on the Trojans in Ute Natatorium, but will now face their competition at USC's McDonald's Olympic Swim Stadium.
