If 15 school records and an appearance at the NCAA Championships was not a big enough splash for the University of Utah swimming & diving team's first year in the Pac-12, the fastest swimming conference in the country, the second year looks to be even more promising as head coach Greg Winslow and his staff announce the commitments of 27 new Utes. Seventeen men and 10 women will enroll at Utah next fall and compete for the Utes during the 2012-13 season.

After a record-breaking season in the pool, eight men and eight women from the Utah swimming & diving program were named to the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic teams.

After a landmark season, the Utah Swim team continues to add to their success. With 15 school records already shattered, some dating back as far as 1987, the Utes show no signs of slowing down as seven Utah swimmers competed at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., last weekend, and taking another step toward their Olympic dreams by qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials June 25-July 2 in Omaha, Neb. at the CenturyLink Center.

The University of Utah women's debut Pac-12 season has come to a close with the Utes placing seventh at the Pac-12 Championships. The Utes finished off the season 6-5 overall with a 2-4 record in conference match ups.

With the 2011-2012 Men's Swimming and Diving campaign at a close, the Ute men drew a fifth-place finish at their first Pac-12 Championships, beating out UCSB, Arizona State and Cal Poly. The men held a 6-6 overall record and were 1-3 in conference meets.
