WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
UC San Diego - On the women's side, UC San Diego has finished third nationally in Division II for the past three years. The Tritons boast Andrea Lippin in the distance events, she holds the school record in both the 500 free and 1000 free. LAST MEETING WITH UC SAN DIEGO:
These two squads met last season, where Utah beat UC San Diego, winning 13 of 16 events on the women's side to win 180-116. The Ute men won 12 of 16 events going on to win by a score of 160.5-138.5. In the meet Amber Walter won three-events for the women, while Jeremy Clark won two events for the men.
QUOTING HEAD COACH Michael Litzinger:
"It is always great for us to travel to San Diego. Although UC San Diego is an NCAA Division II team, they are one of the best in the country. Their athletes swim hard, and are well trained. I expect the dual meet to be as competitive as this past weekend versus Denver was."
