SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah swimming and diving team announced its 2007-08 schedule on Wednesday. New Head Coach Greg Winslow will open his tenure with the Reddish Relays on Friday, October 12 at the Ute Natatorium. The Utes open their conference slate the following day as the women host New Mexico. The men's team will open dual meet competition on Friday, November 9, at Winslow's former school, Arizona State.

The Utes will have seven home meets this season. They will travel to in-state rival BYU on February 1. The 2008 Mountain West Conference Championships will be from February 27-March 1, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Winslow inherits a team that went 10-0 (8-0 MWC) on the women's side and 5-6 (2-3 MWC) in men's competition. At the 2007 MWC Championships the women placed second while the men finished fifth.

All home meets will be held at the Ute Natatorium on the campus of the University of Utah.
