Two Ute divers are competing at NCAA Zone Regionals

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The University of Utah diving team completed the first two dives at the 2008 Zone E Diving Regionals. Utah's Kwan Ling Yu and Anna Braszkiewicz each participated in the one-meter and three-meter diving events.
In the one-meter diving Yu scored 210.30 points to finish 32nd. Braszkiewicz added a 39th-place finish with a score of 181.75.
Yu placed 31st in the three-meter diving with a score of 224.90, while Braszkiewicz placed 37th with a score of 203.50.
"This week has been a lot of diving and tough competition," states diving coach Sterling Richards. "Both our women have had strong dives and are very talented. The field is very tough here and this gives us a good look at what to expect in the future."
The final competition will be Saturday with the Platform diving event.
