The University of Utah men's and women's swimming and diving teams wraps up the regular season when they travel to Provo, Utah, to take on the Cougars Thursday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m. The women's team looks to finish their second undefeated conference dual-meet season in as many years and claim their second straight outright MWC regular season title.
The women hold an 8-1 overall record, 7-0 MWC, while the men sit at 4-2 overall, 2-2 MWC. The women are currently first in the conference standings, while the men are tied for third with Air Force.
QUOTING HEAD COACH Michael Litzinger:
"This is our version of rivalry week. Over the last six years that I've been at Utah, the BYU-Utah meet has truly become meaningful for both teams. We always want to swim well against our rivals, but in reality our focus is on the conference championships at the end of February."
