This will be the second meeting between the Utes and Cougars this season. In the first meet the Utah women won 135-112 and the BYU men won 161.5-81.5. The Cougar men are undefeated in head-to-head competition and rank No. 23 in the national polls.
REVIEWING LAST WEEK:
The Ute women beat Wyoming by a score of 133.5-103.5. Following the win against the Cowboys they knocked off Air Force 130-106. The men lost to both Wyoming (125-106) and Air Force (141-100).
QUOTING HEAD COACH MICHAEL LITZINGER:
"This is the time of year where we are starting to focus on the conference championships where swimmers can compete in up to three individual events. We are going to try some of our swimmers at other events to see if we can't fill all three events at the Mountain West Conference Championships."
