FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The University of Utah women's swimming and diving team continued its unbeaten season with a conference victory over Colorado State on Thursday night. The Utes beat the Rams 180-120, to move to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in MWC competition.

Utah was led by reigning MWC Swimmer of the Week, Amber Walter, who won four events, including the 200 medley relay (1:46.47), 100 breast (1:04.54), 50 free (23.50) and 400 free relay (3:32.16). Alison McInturff also won four events for Utah. McInturff was on the 200 medley relay team and also had individual wins in the 200 free (1:52.58), 100 free (52.54) and 200 IM (2:07.23). While Walter and McInturff helped the Utes on the swimming side; reigning MWC Diver of the Week, Kelsey Patterson won both diving events. Patterson won the one-meter diving with a score of 280.35 and the three-meter diving with a score of 3:07.66.

"It was a good night for our senior girls, against a tough Colorado State team," comments Head Coach Michael Litzinger. "The team is on a very good track and we are excited for New Mexico on Saturday."

The Ute women will swim at New Mexico on Saturday. On January 26 and 27, both the men's and women's teams will host Wyoming and Air Force at the Ute Natatorium
