Jennifer Tasker enters her second season as the Utah assistant women's swimming coach.
Prior to Utah, she spent the 2002-03 season as an assistant coach for both Brighton High School and the Cottonwood Heights Aquatic Team. Both teams enjoyed successes while she was on staff. At Brighton High School, the women finished second while the men finished fourth in the state.Her Cottonwood Heights Aquatic team won the state age group champions.
In 2001-02 Tasker was a student assistant coach at Brigham Young University, her alma mater, helping the team to an 8-3 mark.
As a swimmer for the Cougars, she was an All-American along with the school and Mountain West Conference record holder in the 100 breaststroke. She was also a school and conference record holder in the 200-medley relay. In 2000, Tasker was the MWC champion in the 200 breast. She was also an Olympic Trials Qualifier in 2000 and was voted BYU MVP for two consecutive years. She was also a Cougar scholar athlete.
Tasker earned a bachelor's degree in health science at BYU. She is originally from Centerville, Utah.
