SALT LAKE CITY--The Utah men's and women's swimming and diving teams travel to Long Beach, Calif., to compete in the Speedo Cup, Thursday-Saturday., Dec. 4-6. The competition will be hosted by Long Beach State.

The Ute men defeated Northern Arizona 137-66 bringing, the Utes' record to 3-2-1. In their last meet, the Utah women faced Rice losing 122.5-111.5. The women are currently 1-2-0.

finishes were recorded by Robert Renna (1000 free), Eric Robinson (50 free), Jon
Wright (200 fly), Johan Nystrom (100 free), Mike Greene (200 back) and Bjoern
Olstad (200 breast)...Utah's women have already carded last year's wins (1of 8)
and nearly missed breaking the record against Rice.
