Utah Set to Host Northern Arizona

The Utah men's swimming and diving team host Northern Arizona Fri., Nov. 21 at 4:00 p.m. The meet will be held in Ute Natatorium.

The Utes meet against New Mexico, originally scheduled for Sat., Nov. 22 at 6:00 p.m., has been moved to Fri., Jan. 16 at 6:00 p.m.

Recent Results

In their home opener, the Utes swept TCU. The men won 149-92 while the women dominated 126-117. Against Rice, the Ute men won 152-69. The women were defeated 122.5-111.5. The men carry a 2-1-0 record, while the women are 1-2-0.

Ute Notes

Top performances for the Utes include Molly Lauber's 200 breaststroke versus TCU. She clocked her fastest lifetime speed in the event. Lauber won the 100 breast against Rice with a time of 1:05.89-- currently ranks her 26th in the country. Lisa Ripken won the 500 free in both meets and the 1000 free against Rice. For the men, sophomore James Hooiveld won the 50 free in both meets and also won the 100 free against TCU. Jon Wright won the 200 IM (Rice) and 200 fly (TCU) and Brandon Heidelberger won the 200 and 500 freestyle against Rice.
