Thorson performed well on the world stage

TORINO, Italy - University of Utah freshman Tague Thorson finished second overall at the World University games in the combined standings.
Thorson was the only American to finish in the top-10 in each event. Thorson finished ninth in the super G, sixth in the slalom and fourth in the giant slalom.
Park City native Adam Cole of Denver University finished third. Cole picked up two bronze medals in the GS and super G. Czech Petr Trejbal finished first in the final combined standings.
