PARK CITY, Utah -- Rune Kollerud placed first (29:0) among the collegiate competitors in the 10 KM. to keep Utah first place following the second day of competition in the Utah/Alaska-Anchorage Invitational at Park City Mountain Resort. The Utes are in first place with 316 points. Colorado is second with 298 and New Mexico is third with 282. Frode Kollerud was third in the 10 KM (29:30) and Patrick Casey was sixth (30:0). In the slalom, Mike Elvide was sixth (1:37.25) and Ryan Forsyth was ninth (1:37.81). For the women, Hailey Wappett placed first among the collegiate competitors in the 5 KM with a finishing time of 16:26. Marianne Winge was fourth in the slalom (1:33.42) and Alicia Howard was fifth (1:33.51).
