Thorson continues to ski well in Italy |

TORINO, Italy - Tague Thorson finished Tuesday's GS Finals with his fifth-consecutive top 10 finish. The freshman finished ninth with a time of 1:12.34. Fellow American Adam Cole of Denver University finished third with a time of 1:11.65. Petr Zahrobsky of the Czech Republic won the event, finishing with a time of 1:11.36.
Thorson debuted strongly last Thursday at the World University Games, earning a two-run time of 1:50.33 to take fourth place in the giant slalom. On Saturday Thorson continued to ski well, finishing sixth in the men's slalom with a time of 1:27.81.
Wednesday's downhill event, which Thorson was slated to compete in, has been cancelled.
