Two members of the University of Utah's ski team received awards at the annual Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Skiing Association Spring Conference in Park City, Utah, on May 9. The RMISA membership elected Tii-Maria Romar RMISA Female Skier of the year, while Head Alpine coach Jaka Korencan was named the RMISA Alpine Coach of the Year.

The Utes earned 12 different All-American honors and the University of Utah ski team finished second at the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive season and the eighth time since the sport went co-ed in 1989.

2000 NCAA Skiing Championships March 8-11, 2000 Hosted By The University of Utah
SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah will host the 2000 NCAA Skiing Championships March 8-11, 2000. Alpine events will be held at Park City Mountain Resort in Park City, Utah. Cross country races will be held at Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah. Both alpine and cross country races will be held at venues that will host those events for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
