Kristina Casey is in her second season with the Utah ski team and her first as the team manager.
Casey was an All-American cross-country ski racer for four years at Utah. As a fifth-year student, she volunteered and trained with the team, competed in the 2002 Olympics and received her Parks, Recreation and Tourism Degree.
While continuing to race after graduation, Casey began coaching competitive junior programs in Idaho and at her high school alma mater, Stratton Mountain School, in Vermont. She helped advance the Junior Nordic Program in Boise, Idaho as the head coach/program director. Casey was on the coaching staff for the World Junior/U23 World Championships in February, 2008.
The former Kristina Joder is married to former Utah skier Pat Casey. They have an infant daughter, Mabel.
